Submission Guidelines

Violation of these guidelines will result in your submission not being published.

 

What SHOULD be included in your article:

• An original title that encapsulates what you wrote about in your submission

• Something that you have experienced 

• Storytelling format

• Hook

Example Hook:  I anxiously tug the door open and am filled with a sense of dread at the sight of so many other kids. It’s my first day of high school. 

 

• 1st or 3rd person

(Either written from your own perspective, or witnessing someone experience something.)

• 250 word minimum

What SHOULD NOT be included:

• Hateful pieces with names based on people in real life (especially without permission)

• Inappropriate topic matter (self-harm, violence, sex, drug use; etc)

  • Unnecessarily graphic/explicit content unless relevant or handled responsibly

• Plagiarized content (including use of AI to write any part of an article)

• Offensive/harmful language
