The Battle Between Me and Time

Looking back, I wish I did not grow up so fast. Time flies. It feels like I just started high school yesterday. Growing up, I always wanted to be an adult, and dreamed of having the freedom to do whatever I wanted. Looking back, I realized that life gets progressively harder as we grow older. Adults have always told me to cherish every moment before it is too late.
Life is not easy as a teenager; there are countless things that I stress about. Whether it is getting into a good university or not knowing what I want for my future. Life has been rough, and it doesn’t just stop there. It will inevitably become tougher in the future. Again, I come back to the same idea that the adults in my life have told me: to cherish every moment so I don’t regret my choices in the future. If I ever have the chance to travel back to my childhood, I would want to experience the feeling of not having to worry about anything again. To go to the playground, to have a good time for once. The playground was a realm of freedom and happiness, going on the merry-go-round spinning stress-free, attempting to get to the highest point of the swing with pure excitement.
Even though I cannot go back in time, the only way I can relive my childhood is to look through old photos and recall the memories of the past. Most importantly is to cherish the moments I have now with my family and friends as a teenager before moving on to being an adult.
